FIFA visits second set of host cities for World Cup 2026

FIFA has visited the second set of host cities, following the first visits in September 2021. The World Football Association is inspecting the stadiums and cities for the 2026 World Cup.

Between October 21 and November 1 a delegation from the football organization visited the following cities: Kansas City, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Monterrey, San Francisco and Seattle.

During the visits, discussions were held with various stakeholders, such as the infrastructure, the stadiums and training facilities.

The first nine potential host cities that were visited set the bar very high for the other cities. People are very enthusiastic and would like to organize the World Championship. The last cities in the US, Canada and Mexico will be visited at the end of November.
